A Long Standing Family Run Business
The Slacks Farm story started 48 years ago when a young Steve Hayman took up his craft as a butcher in 1976.
At just 18 years old, Steve opened his first shop and fondly named it after his family home, a working farm in Edgworth, Lancashire. From day one Steve had a clear mission - to provide top quality produce and a service to match. 
In 2010, Steve took his son Mark under his apron strings. Their stall on Accrington Market has been thriving for over 30 years, and in February 2017, they went on to open another shop in Chorley town centre which Mark now runs.
Together, they serve their local community with carefully sourced, quality ingredients.
